Orbital Distributors Pty., Ltd.
With a history in manufacturing composite acid-proof containers for the mining industry, Orbital directed it's thoughts to other commercial and domestic market needs. Managing director, Adrian Farrar, who leads the research and development team, used his creative and artistic flair together with his knowledge of composites and, after a year, “Petracom” was launched into the market place.
“Petracom” is a modified polyester coating over composite and has been so named because of the many properties it shares with stone such as durability, appearance and high strength.
“Petracom”, also displays the following important characteristics:
• Can be manufactured in different colours
• Impact resistant
• Stain resistant
• If lightly scratched it is restorable
• Less expensive than worked stone
A warranty on any manufacturing defect is given with all our products.
Orbital Distributors Pty Ltd was established in April 1990 as a private company. We have since then produced over 50 000 units for bathrooms.
Orbital Distributors. Pty Ltd has been awarded with the “International arch of Europe award for quality and technology” certificate at the international B.I.D. convention in Madrid during March 1997.
